A Primer on the Details of Health Care Reform – NYTimes.com.

Here’s a fantastic article outlining health care reform as it currently stands. If you’re like me, and you’re wondering what the hell is going on and if any substantive changes are going to be made, then you can catch up and probably be more informed than most of our elected representatives.

I like the idea of setting standards for acceptable health care coverage, because I simply believe that corporate greed cannot go unchecked. It must be the government’s job to protect the majority of its people from the greed and exploitation of the rich. The United States has no substantive armed enemies in the world. Our true enemies are exploitative capitalists who live both within and outside of our borders.

Also, I like the idea of non-profit health insurance providers. I’m all about non-profit, since profit is perhaps the greatest sin. “Thou shalt have no other Gods…”
