No Easter Egg Hunt This Year, Mayor Dean Grose Resigns

This racist mayor of some little part of Orange County sent out a postcard of the white house with watermelons on the lawn. Under it was the label “No Easter Egg Hunt This Year.”

White racism is alive and well in 2009.

Don’t be. These kind of emails are sent by ignorant and bigoted “conservatives” all of the time. Believe me, I had them sent to my email inbox too, especially when I was living in Mississippi.

But here did the image come from? I seriously doubt this mayor created it himself.

And here’s the best part: He DENIES knowing about the racial stereotype linking African-Americans and watermelons. What a LIAR! Don’t believe for one second that a white male born in this country doesn’t know perfectly well such racist insults against African-Americans. We learned them often.

And he apologizes offending her, but he DOESN’T apologize for sending a blatantly racist email. This man needs a real education.
